Marlene Kay Chambless

Marlene Kay (Rau) Chambless, 46, of Kemp, Texas formerly of Sorento, IL passed away Monday, January 31, 2005 at 9:18 PM at Presbyterian Hospital in Greenville, Texas. 

She was born on September 27, 1958 in Highland, IL the daughter of Marvin Otto and Alberta Erlene (Wall) Rau. She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandfather, Albert Wall and paternal grandparents, Otto and Carolyn Rau. 

Marlene was a Regional Sales Representative in women's clothing. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kemp, TX, 1976 Graduate of Greenville High School in Greenville, IL and a volunteer at Veterans Administration Hospital in Bonham, TX. 

Survivors: Husband, William "Bill" Sheldon of Kemp, TX; Sons, Clayton Nicholas and James Dillian Chambless both of Kemp, TX; Brothers, Brian Scott Rau of Houston, TX and Todd Allen Rau of Panama, IL; Mother, Alberta Erlene Rau of Panama, IL; Maternal grandmother, Loretta "Letty" Wall of Sorento, IL; 3 Nephews; 1 Great Niece; Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. 

Friends may call on Thursday, February 3 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 4 at 11:00 AM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento, with Rev. James Howie officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. 

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
