Martha Louise Hays

Martha Louise Hays, 98 of Taylorville formerly of Decatur passed away on Monday, December 24, 2015 at 7:25 AM at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.

She was born on April 7, 1914 at Decatur the daughter of Fred and Emma (Sawyer) Hays. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother, Wayne Hays and a nephew, John Davis.

Martha was a homemaker. She attended Sharon United Methodist Church in Decatur.

Survivors include: Sister, Virginia Davis of Taylorville, IL; Nephews, Richard (wife, Shirley) Davis and William (wife, Joanne) Davis both of Taylorville, IL; Many great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Sharon United Methodist Church in Decatur with Rev. Cathy Najmon officiating.

Burial will follow at Harristown Cemetery, Harristown. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at the church.

Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home in Taylorville is in charge of arrangements.
