Mary E. Boyd

Mary E. Boyd, 89 of Colby, WI formerly of Athens, WI passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2007 at Colonial Center in Colby.

She was born March 13, 1918 in Greenville, IL the daughter of the Late Horace and Anna (Fessler) Davis. She married Elmer Boyd on July 14, 1946 in Greenville, IL; he preceded her in death in 1993.

Mary worked as a registered nurse for many years and had hobbies including gardening, needlepoint, watching birds and cooking.

Survivors: Daughter, Linda (Mark) Ellenbecker of Athens, WI; Sons, William Boyd of Athens, WI, Charles (Rita) Boyd of Mosinee, WI and Darrell (Sherri) Boyd of Athens, WI; Sisters, Mae (Clinton) McCaslin and Florence Davis both of Greenville, IL; Sister-in-Law, Hazel Scharf of Litchfield, IL; 8 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; Many nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services will be held Monday, July 23, 2007 at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento.

Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento is in charge of arrangements.
