Memories Timeline

  1. Mary's parents, Irma and Perry Schmollinger, were very good friends of my parents, Chester and Cornelia Bimes. They played pinochle with them a lot Irma would stay all night with us many times after Perry's passing. When Irma passed away in the mid-1960's, Eddie and Mary sold Irma's car to us. Many people wanted that car, but the Ulmers knew about our family's friendship with Irma. When my father suddenly died in 1963, my mother bought a burial plot next to Perry's at Mt Auburn cemetery. I would say my parents and the Schmollingers were "thick". Sincerely, Ron Bimes, New Orleans

  2. May this scripture bring you comfort and hope at Daniel 12:2 "And many of those asleep in the dust of the earth will wake up, some to everlasting life and others to reproach and to everlasting contempt." During this your time of sorrow. JR

  3. Judy, you have my sympathy, and prayers for comfort, as you grieve the loss of your mother. Judy Schaufelberger McMillan
