Mary Elizabeth Jordan

Mary Elizabeth (Marak) Jordan, 86 of Panama passed away Sunday, September 14, 2008 at 3:17 PM at Hillsboro Area Hospital. 

She was born March 4, 1922 in Panama the daughter of the late August and Margaret (Trobaugh) Marak. She married Roderick S. Jordan on August 25, 1945 in Hillsboro; he preceded her in death in 1979. A brother John Marak and a sister, Margaret Malisia also preceded her in death. Mary was a homemaker. 

Survivors: Son, Mark (Linda) Jordan of Troy, IL; Daughter, Karen (Alan) Jones of Banberry, England; Sister, Marlene Gad of Panama, IL; Brother, Bernard Marak of Panama, IL; 1 Step Grandchild and 1 Step Great Grandchild; many Nieces and Nephews. 

Friends may call on Thursday, September 18 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Perfetti Funeral Home with the Rev. Dave Trover officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Panama. 

In memory of Mary, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.
