Mary Josephine Snell

Mary Josephine (Harris) Snell, 93 of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Blue River Care Center in Kansas City. 

Mary was born May 15, 1914 in Farmersville the daughter of the late Edward and Estella (Malloy) Harris. She married Herman Snell on October 31, 1932 in Taylorville; he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were five sisters, Marcella Clark, Ronella Beierman, Bernice Reck, Rita Harris and Dorothy J. Harris; I brother, Clete Harris. 
Mary was a member of the St. Elizabeth Parish in Kansas City. 

Survivors: Daughter, Marcy (husband, James L.) Mick of Kansas City, MO; 2 Grandchildren, Cynthia (husband, Charles) Wallace and James J. Mick, 3 Grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew and Madeline Wallace all of Kansas City, MO; Brother, Joseph Harris of Morrisonville, IL; Many Nieces and Nephews and Cousins. 

Visitation will be held Friday, April 11 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville. Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, April 12 at 10:30 AM at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Morrisonville with the Rev. Chris J. Comerford officiating. Burial will follow at St. Maurice Catholic Cemetery. 

A memorial mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Parish in Kansas City at a later date.
