Megan L. Defoor, 18, of Morrisonville, died Thursday, Jan 3, 2002 at Memorial Medical Center due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born December 20th, 1983, in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Charles A. DeFoor and Tracy A. Pharis Defoor.
Miss Defoor was a senior honor student at Morrisonville High School where she was a cheerleader, a member of the volleyball team, the Key Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Survivors: Mother, Tracy Pharis Defoor (Bernie Grundy) of Morrisonville; Father, Charles Defoor of Stonington; Grandparents: Joan Heisler (husband Harold) of Decatur, Gerald Pharis (wife Debra) of Springfield; two aunts, Lynnette Jones (husband Cecil) of Springfield, Natalie Gingrey (husband William) of Mt. Zion, a step-uncle and several cousins.
Services 11:00 a.m., Monday, at the Morrisonville High School Gymnasium, Larry Hanson officiating. Burial: Morrisonville Cemetery.
Moffit-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 7th from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. at the gymnasium.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Morrisonville High School Volleyball Association.
