Merle Thomas "MT" Rench

Merle "MT" Rench, age 71 of Greenville passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 at his home. Private funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Young Funeral Home. Interment was in Noffsinger Cemetery. Merle was born March 30, 1944 in Pleasant Mound to Frank and Bessie (Kelley) Rench. He is survived by his wife Mary (Collinsworth) Rench of Greenville, his sons Michael T. (Michelle) Rench of Collinsville, IL and Darin Rench of Greenville. He is also survived by his mother Bessie Rench of Mulberry Grove, IL, his sister Candice (Russ) Widger of Mulberry Grove, IL. 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. In 1963 he went to work for his uncle T.A. Sexon at Sexton Grain Co. in Mulberry Grove, IL. in 1969 he went to work at Midwest Commodities in Mulberry retiring in 2003. He then started his own trucking and logistics company MTR Enterprises, Inc which he operated until 2012. Memorial contributions are suggested to Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
