Millard S. Smothers

Millard S. (Bud) Smothers, 75, of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Morrisonville, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 29, in the Morrisonville Cemetery with military rites conducted by Leslie-Reddick Post 721 of American Legion.

The Rev. David Glahn will officiate. Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Smothers was born May 26, 1927 in Parrish, IL, the son of Delmar J. and Opal G. Smothers. He attended Morrisonville High School and was a U. S. Navy veteran. He is survived by his sister Frances (husband Robert) Stewart of Morrisonville, former wife Tina, two sons, Jackie and Richard of Las Vegas, NV and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceeded in death by his parents and sisters Virginia Brown and Wilma Jean Jayne.
