Minnie "Pat" Archer

Minnie Patricia "Pat" Archer, 72, of Panama died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009 at 7:10 p.m. at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Friends may call on Thursday, Jan. 7, from 5-6 p.m. at the Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama. A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was born June 20, 1937 in Atlanta, GA, the daughter of George Quillian and Johnnie Mae (Hamby) Gunter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bill and Jerry Gunter.

She worked as a bookkeeper at Simons Plating and Printing in Georgia before moving to Panama.

Survivors include one daughter, Tina (husband Waldo) Schellenger of Panama; six grandchildren, Mark Schellenger, Zack Schellenger, Chris Runge, Zachary Rumsey, Twila Frey and Justin Gerdes; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard and Daniel Gunter, both of Georgia; and one sister, Peggy Webb also of Georgia.
