Nancye Blaylock

Nancye Lorraine Blaylock, 74, of Villa Ridge, MO, formerly of Sorento, died Feb. 19, 2010, at 6:15 p.m. at Des Peres Hospital, Des Peres, MO.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Curt Williams officiating. Burial will be at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento.

Born Feb. 25, 1935, at Burlington, IA, she was a daughter of the late Dorothy Blake. She married Robert A. Blaylock, and he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Blaylock was a laborer at Roller Derby. She volunteered at the Montgomery County Senior Citizens Center.

Surviving are three sons, Roger Blaylock of Mulberry Grove, Dane Lennington of Greenville, and Terry Turnbough of Las Vegas; two daughters, Sherry (husband Marty) Letson of Villa Ridge, MO, and Vicky (husband James) Abshere of Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Blake; two brothers, Dick Blake, George Blake; and a son, Rickey Murdock.
