Naomi L. Shoraga

Naomi L. Shoraga, 95, of Morrisonville, died on Monday, July 22, 2013, at 1:14 a.m. at Nokomis Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 30, at Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville with the Rev. Jim Ferrill officiating. Burial followed at Morrisonville Cemetery.  Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Shoraga was born Aug. 11, 1917, in Fayette County, the daughter of Leslie and Mary (Washburn) McNeely Sr. She married Clarence O. Shoraga on Oct. 27, 1935 in Paxton, and he preceded her in death along with her parents; a sister, Amy Ellen; and a brother, Leslie D. McNeely Jr.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Morrisonville.

She is survived by two daughters, Joyce (husband Harold) Wade of Bloomington, and Janet (husband Ron) VanGeison of Eureka, MO; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
