Norma A. Stone

Norma A. Stone, 71, of Taylorville, passed away at 10:07 A.M., on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, Ill. She was born February 4, 1936 in Roby, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence and Pearl (Cummins) Porter. She married David Stone 6-10-1950 in Springfield, Ill. She worked for St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville, for 37 years as a Unit Clerk and for Home Health Care. 

Survivors included her husband David, of Taylorville. Daughter: Peggy (Les) Bruns, Edinburg. Sons: David (Tom) and wife Zorane Stone, Columbia, Mo., Randy (Leigh Ann) Stone, Springfield, IL, and Danny (Jessica) Stone, Taylorville, IL; Brother - Claude (Mary) Porter, Taylorville; Sister - Natalie Sanders, Taylorville; 7 Grandchildren 2 Step Grandchildren 
6 Great Grandchildren 2 Step Great Grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her son: Ronnie Duane Stone, Parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters 

Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007 form 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville Funeral will be Wed., Oct. 10, 2007 at 10:30 A.M., at Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville with Rev. Dennis Sanders officiating. Burial will be at Waverly Cemetery, Waverly, Ill
