Norma Dean Swedick

Norma Dean Swedick, 86, Taylorville, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at 6:00 P .m. at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, Illinois. She was bon August 31, 1920 in Terre Haute, Ind., the daughter of James and Ida Jackson Cooper. She married Charles H. Swedick on 2-24-1940 in St. Charles Mo. She was retired from Sangamon Card Co., Taylorville, Ill. And Illinois Secretary of State office, Springfield, Ill. And was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband Charles H. Swedick of Taylorville; Daughter Penny (Bob) German, Taylorville and Son- William (wife Mickey) Swedick of Taylorville. 7 Grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Michael Charles Swedick, 7 brothers and 5 sisters.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 from 11 :00 AM- 12:00 Noon at Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville, Illinois. Funeral will be on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 12:00 Noon at Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville, Illinois. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, Illinois.
