Norma L. Turner, 84 of Sorento passed away at 5:09 AM on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.

She was born on November 11, 1930 at Old Ripley Township the daughter of Henry William and Clara Christina Wilhelmina (Hamen) Schweppe. Norma married Robert L. Turner on January 10, 1948 at Edwardsville. She was preceded in death by her parents; Sisters, Fern Lesicko, Laura Warzala and Irene Volentine; Brother, Lester "Bud" Schweppe; 2 Grandchildren.

Norma worked for International Paper Company in Litchfield for 31 years before her retirement. She was a member of Sorento Presbyterian Church, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Eastern Star. Norma loved crocheting and playing bingo.

Survivors include: Her husband, Robert Turner of Sorento, IL; Sons, Keith (Mary) Turner of Titusville, FL, Gary Turner of Keysport, IL and Joel Turner of Taylor Springs, IL; Daughters, Penny (Stan) Casey of Panama, IL, Debra Jett of Sorento, IL, Kathy (Chris) Atchison of Mulberry Grove, IL and Mary Jane (Gary) Sugg of Sorento, IL; 8 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Beulah Urban of Livingston, IL, Esther Schuster of Alhambra, IL and Ruth (Carl) Huber of Sorento, IL; Many Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento with Rev. Jeremy Bundren officiating. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00-8:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento.

Memorials are suggested to the family of Norma Turner.
