Norma Jean McKinney, 83, of Taylorville passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at 7:05 p.m. at Taylorville Care Center.

She was born December 9, 1927, at Taylorville, the daughter of Luther and Euteen Matthews Webb. She married Leonard McKinney, Sr. on July 24, 1945, at Stonington. He preceded her in death along with her parents. Norma was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Taylorville.

Survivors are sons: Leonard (wife Annette) McKinney, Jr. of Taylorville and Dana (wife Nancy) McKinney of Hewittville; daughter, Marla (husband Jeff) Hardy of Taylorville; brother, Myron Webb of St. Charles, MO; sister, Wanda (husband Primo) Pezzi of Kincaid, five grandchildren: Jia Crist and James McKinney, both of Springfield, Lucas McKinney of Rock Falls, IL, Destiny Herpstreith and Rachael Cunningham, both of Taylorville; four great-grandchildren: Dreagon and Riley Oller, Jace Crist and Ava Herpstreith. 

Cremation rites were accorded by Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial will be at a late date at Oak Hill Cemetery.
