Orville Dean Burris Jr., 40 of Greenville passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 11:52 PM in Greenville.
He was born May 30, 1968 in Hillsboro the son of Orville Dean and Mable Louise (Huddlestun) Burris Sr. Preceding him in death was his mother; Grandparents, Ernest and Rose Burris and Wilbert and Josephine Huddlestun; Nephew, Jeffrey Wayne Green.
Mr. Burris worked as a welder and served in the US Navy.
Survivors: Son, Christopher Dean Burris of Sorento, IL Father, Orville Dean (Mildred) Burris Sr. of Benld, IL; Brother, Richard (Paula) Burris of Trenton, IL; Sisters, Melvina ( companion, Jim Walker) Cook of Staunton, IL, Norma (Denny) Zeller of Sorento, IL and Leota (Jeff) Green of Litchfield, IL; Nieces and Nephews, Jennifer Green, Rosie Green, John Zeller, Tabatha Jake) Jernigan, Mike Dukes and Samantha Dukes; Great Niece and Nephew, Dawsen Green and Karle Jernigan.
Private family graveside services will be held Monday, June 16 at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento with burial to follow.
