Rex David Pruitt

Rex David Pruitt, Sr, 54, of Taylorville, passed away at 8:07 A.M., on February 3, 2007 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield. He was born 10-21-1952 in Vandalia, the son 
of Dale and Jesse Skinner Pruitt. He married Donna McEwen on May 10, 1974 in Butte, Montana. He worked for Lively Electric in Taylorville for 10 years and then worked as a Planner 
Estimator for General Services Administration. He was a Veteran, serving for the U.S. Army. 

He is survived by his wife, Donna of Taylorville, daughter - Jessica and husband J.C. Olive, Taylorville. Sons - Rex. D. and wife Rhonda Pruitt of Taylorville and Ryan and wife Janel Pruitt of Taylorville. Father, Dale Pruitt of Tulsa, OK. Sister, Beverly and husband Steve Bishop of Girard. Grandchildren: Allie Olive, Olivia Pruitt, Rolla Pruitt and Sam Brubaker, all of Taylorville. 

He as preceded in death by his mother and brother Roger Pruitt.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 8, 2007 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville. Cremation rites were accorded.
