Richard William Haare, 54, of Morrisonville, died Sun., Aug. 7, 2005 at 11 :09 p.m. in his home. He was born on May 2, 1951 in Taylorville, a son of Harold William & Ida Mae (Rittenhouse) Haare. He graduated from Morrisonville High School in 1969. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force/ Illinois Air National Guard where he served from 1971 until 2000.

He was currently employed as an inventory specialist for In Home Medical in Taylorville. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Morrisonville, American Legion Post #721 in Morrisonville & 

V. F. W. Post # 4495 in Taylorville, Illinois National Guard Association & served on the Board of Chief Counsel for the Air National Guard. He was a competitive shooter & a member of American Trap Shooters' Association, National Rifle Association, Illinois Rifle Association & Illini Indians Shooters' Club.

Richard married Diane McKinnie on Oct. 10, 1970 in Morrisonville. She survives. He is also survived by: His parents, Harold & Ida Haare of Morrisonville, 1 daughter, Marissa (David) Bockewitz of Morrisonville, 1 granddaughter, Madyson Bockewitz,1 brother, Larry (Terry) Haare of Louisville, KY, Mother-in-law, Erma McKinnie, Sister-in-law, Denise (Joe) Bloome, Brother-in-law, Gary (Judy) McKinnie, All of Morrisonville, Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents. 

Funeral services will be held Thurs., Aug. 11, 2005 at 11 a.m. in First Presbyterian Church in Morrisonville. Rev. Jim Ferrill will officiate. Burial will be in Morrisonville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m. in Moffitt - Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville. The family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society or First Presbyterian Church in Morrisonville.
