Rita Ann (Bost) Greenwood

Rita Ann (Bost) Greenwood, 56, of Morrisonville, IL passed away Monday, January 16, 2006 at 1:15 PM at her home.

She was born on May 17, 1949 in Taylorville, IL the daughter of Earse and Melvina Imogene (Luce) Spencer. She married Larry C. Bost on September 22, 1968 at Morrisonville First Baptist Church; he preceded her in death on January 22, 1993. She then married Robert Greenwood on February 19, 1994 at the Morrisonville First Baptist Church. Also preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Mary Francis Schmedeke, Margaret Badorek and Jean Nance.

Mrs. Greenwood was a homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church m Taylorville.

Survivors: Husband, Robert Greenwood of Morrisonville, IL; Daughters, Tracey (husband, Sean) Wyant of O’Dell, IL, Colleen Bost of Morrisonville, IL, Kristine (husband, Allan) Larson of Atlanta, IL and Linda (husband, Ryan) Henry of Bethany, IL; 5 Grandchildren, Travis and Amy Wyant, Caleb and Matthew Larson and Caden Henry; Brother, Edward L. (wife, Wilma) Spencer of Taylorville, IL; Sisters, Barbara (husband, Jim) O’Brien and Sharon (husband, Dale) Downs both of Taylorville, IL and Joyce (husband, Elmer) Bausch of Decatur, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews and Cousins.

Friends may call on Friday, January 20 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21 at 10:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church in Taylorville, with Rev. Phillip Neuman officiating. Burial will follow in Morrisonville Cemetery.

In memory of Rita Ann Greenwood memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society for Ovarian Cancer Research, Grace Baptist Church of Taylorville, First Baptist Church of Morrisonville or St. Vincent Memorial Hospital Hospice.

Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
