Rita Clair DeBrun

Rita Clair DeBrun, 61 of Morrisonville passed away Monday, September 6,2008 at 8:36 PM at Taylorville Memorial Hospital.
She was born January 7, 1947 in Hillsboro the daughter of Vernon and Eulalia (Minikin) Reynolds. She married Robert J. DeBrun on January 20, 1968 at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Morrisonville; he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a sister, Joyce Brieger.
Rita worked for the Illinois Army National Guard at Camp Lincoln for 29 years, retiring in 1998. She was also employed at Country Companies Insurance in Morrisonville for 9 years. She was a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church, Alter & Rosary Society, Red Hat Society and a 1964 graduate of Morrisonville High School. Before her illness, Rita loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors: Companion, Dale Weitekamp of Morrisonville, IL; Daughter, Jodie (Kenny) Badman of Morrisonville, IL; Son, Darren DeBrun of Morrisonville, IL; 2 Grandchildren, Corey and Mackenzie Badman; Brother, H. Joe (Shirley) Reynolds of Springfield, IL; Sister, Marilyn (Leon) DeBrun of Morrisonville, IL; Many Nieces and Nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday, September 18 from 4:00-7:00 PM at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Morrisonville. Funeral mass will be held Friday, September 19 at 10:30 AM at St. Maurice Catholic Church with Father Jerry Bunse and Father Chris Comerford officiating. Burial will follow at St. Maurice Catholic Cemetery in Morrisonville.
In memory of Rita, memorials may be made to her family for a charity of their choice.
