Robert Grigg

Robert Eugene Grigg, 54 of Sorento, died at 11:38 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Sorento Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Thomas officiating.
Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Grigg was born on Jan. 27, 1959, in Litchfield, a son of the late Henry and Marilyn (Boerckel) Grigg.
He was employed by Azcon Metals in Alton, and was a trustee for the village of Sorento for 20 years.
Mr. Grigg is survived by two sons, John (wife Monica) Grigg of Sorento and Robert Barrett of Fairbury; a daughter, Michelle Green of Litchfield; nine grandchildren; a brother, Richard Grigg of East Alton; and three sisters, Kay (husband Harold) Stewart of Sorento, and Kim Grigg and Karen Rae, both of East Alton.
He was preceded in death by a sister, a brother, and four grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family of Robert Grigg.
