Robert L. Huber

Robert L. Huber, age 84, passed away at St. Luke's Hospital, Chesterfield, MO. He is survived by his daughter Bev (Steve) Darbyshire, his son Mike (Jalyn) Huber, his step-son Trevor (Jamie) Wise, his step-daughters Shelli (Greg) Ratterman and Tiffani (Marc) Ackerman, his sister Shirley Sussenbach, fifteen grandchildren and two great granchildren. He was preceded in death by two wives. Margery (Marks) Huber who he married April 7, 1952 she died April 7, 1985 He then married Kathy (Peterson Wise) Huber on December 11, 1993. She died November 22, 2011. He was also preceded in death by three sisters Eunice Huber in infancy, Opal Pryor and Marie Dressor. Also three brothers Jesse Huber, Earl Huber, and Joyce Huber. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter. He grew up in Reno and graduated from Reno High School in 1945. He went to work at Olin Incorporated after high school. He entered the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. After the military he returned to Olin until he retired in 1993. He drove for Greenville Ford from 1995 to 2006 and for Tri-Ford from 2006 to 2012. He was a member of V.F.W. Post #1377, The Machinists Union, and The Greenville First Chrisitan Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to V.F.W. Post #1377, The Comets Sports Booster, or The Greenville First Chirstian Church.
