Roger Alan Walker

Roger Alan Walker, 60 of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Herber Springs.

He was born on March 26, 1952 at Indianola, Iowa the son of Edward Norman and Elsie Lucille (Weir) Walker. He married Patricia Wilson on January 15, 1999 at Taylorville; she preceded him in death along wit his parents.

Roger was a Barber and also sold insurance. He loved fishing and being around the water. He was very active in Boy Scouts of America.

Survivors include: Sister, Mary Cornell of Auburn, AL; Niece, Amy (Derek) Dickerson of Cedar Rapids, IA; Nephews, Jeffery (Kimberly) Conrad of Missoula, MT and Timothy (Jenifer) Conrad of West Palm Beach, FL; 2 aunts, several great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville with Rev. Ellen Rechenbach officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home in Taylorville is in charge of arrangements.
