Ronald L. Sides

Ronald L. Sides, 69 of Taylorville passed away at 1:20 PM on Monday, October 12, 2015 at his home.

He was born on August 10, 1946 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri the son of Arnold E. and Violet L. (King) Sides. Ronald was preceded in death by his father and 1 sister, Margaret.

Ronald was employed for many years at Macon Metals.

Survivors: Longtime companion, Mary Kirlin of Taylorville, IL; Son, Joey Hemseth of St. Charles, IL; Daughter, Corey Hemseth of Bellevue, IL; Mother, Violet Sides of Blue Mound, IL; Sister, Linda (Mike) Mulikey of St. Louis, MO; Brothers, Roger (Nila) Sides of Stonington, IL, Larry (Kathy) Sides of Taylorville, IL and Tex (Darline) Sides of Blue Mound, IL; Many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Bethel Cemetery in Blue Mound with Rev. Ellen Moma officiating.

Shafer-Perfetti Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
