Ronald E. Molohon, 67, of Taylorville died at 1:45 a.m. Sunday, September 27, 2009, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

He was born December 3, 1941, in Taylorville, the son of H. E. and Irene Braughton Molohon. He married Dianna Perkinson on May 2, 1965, in Taylorville. He retired as a unit adjuster at Caterpillar in 2005. He was a social member at the VFW in Taylorville. He was a member of Moose Lodge #1516.

Surviving are his wife; sons: Brad (Carrie) Molohon of Taylorville; daughter, Beth (Matt) Peters of Taylorville; grandchildren: Kayla Seiler, Zackery Seiler, Hunter Molohon and Hayden Molohon, all of Taylorville; mother, Irene Molohon of Taylorville; and nephews: Ronnie Wiggins and Ryan (Shawn) Wiggins, both of Rochester. He was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Rhonda Wiggins.

Private family services will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Bob Spurgin officiating.
