Ruby Mae Arndt

Ruby Mae (Reidelberger) Arndt, 91, of Sorento, died Thursday, April 28, 2011, at 4:01 p.m. at Hitz Memorial Home, Alhambra.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 2, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Graveside services will follow at 11:15 a.m. at Sunnyside Cemetery with the Rev. Elmer L. Fenton officiating.

Born March 4, 1920, at Sorento, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Mary Ellen "Nellie" (Maroon) Cruthis. She was married to Frank Reidelberger and then to Earl Arndt. They both preceded her in death.

Mrs. Arndt worked for DeMoulin Brothers in Greenville for 21 years before retirement. She was a member of Fern Chapter 754 Order of the Eastern Star in Sorento.

Survivors include a son, Michael Reidelberger (companion Renee McCoy) of Sorento; two daughters, Mary Ann White and Doris M. Ingles, both of Sorento; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Opal Stiritz of Tucson, AZ, and Irene "Midge" Anderson of Lodi, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Donna Reidelberger in infancy, and Dorothy Boerckel; a son, Harold Reidelberger; a grandson, Michael Pal Reidelberger; and a sister, Ollie Schneck.
