Rueben "Deon" Wilkinson

Deon Wilkinson, 64, of Taylorville, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2007 at 9:15 p.m. at his residence. He was born January 31, 1943, in Taylorville, the son of Donald Eugene and Lois Roberta Clark Wilkinson. He married Elaine German 8-26-1983 in Taylorville. He was a Truck Driver for Risinger, Morton, Ill. Deon was a lifetime member of the Taylorville V.F.W. 

He is survived by his wife of Taylorville, son: William (wife Laura) Wilkinson, of Palmer. Grandchildren: Brady Steele Wilkinson and Bailey Ann Wilkinson of Palmer. Aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins. 

He was preceded by his parents 

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 25, 2007 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M at Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville, Ill. Funeral will be Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Shafer Funeral Home, Taylorville with Rev. Richard Wamsley officiating Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, Ill.
