Rufus Henry Huddleston

Rufus Henry Huddleston, 58, of Vergennes, IL, formerly of Sorento and Livingston passed away Sunday, October 03, 2004 at 2:50 PM at St. Joseph Hospital in Murphysboro,IL. 

He was born on November 27, 1945 in Sorento, IL the son of John Henry and Violet (Henderson) Huddleston. Preceding him in death were his parents; 2 sisters, Yovonne Huddleston and Margaret Albion. 

Mr. Huddleston was a veteran of the US Navy. 

Survivors: Son, Kenneth Wayne (wife, Lisa) Huddleston of Livingston, IL; Daughter, Tamara Ann Huddleston of Livingston, IL; 2 Grandchildren, Malisa Huddleston and Cody Michael Gibbs; Brothers, Jack (wife, Carol) Huddleston of Point Magu, CA and Douglas (wife, Lucy) Huddleston of El Cajon, CA; Sister, Lavena (husband, Charles) Compton of Donnellson, IL; Former wife, Anna Stewart; Several Nieces and Nephews. 

Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, October 6 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Funeral services will be held at 11 :00 AM Thursday, October 7 at Perfetti Funeral Home in

Sorento, with Rev. Elmer L. Fenton officiating. Burial will be in Kirkland Cemetery, northwest of Sorento.
