Russel Harold Nolan

Russel Harold Nolan, age 90, of Mulberry Grove, IL passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Chattanooga, TN. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Young Funeral Home at 1 PM. Friends may call Saturday after 12 noon. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing in the funeral home. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Brown Cemetery.

Russell was born May 25, 1930 in Muskegon, Michigan to Harold William and Florence (Sugg) Nolan. He is survived by his children Russell Nolan, Jr. of Centralia, IL, Cynthia Bateman of Somonauk, IL, Deborah (Chris) Clark of Soddy Daisy, TN, Roger Nolan of Greenville, IL, and Pamela (Russ) Jernigan of Greenville, IL. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister Martha Hueter.

Russell grew up in Greenville and attended Greenville High School. He served in the US Army from 1951 to 1953. After the service he worked as an over the road truck driver.
