Sarah Corine Ostermeier

Sarah Corine (Dain) Ostermeier, 90, of Edinburg, passed away 8-1-2007 at Sherry Schorey Care Home in rural Stonington. She was born 1-20-1917 in Christian County, Illinois, the daughter of Benjamin and Mary (Poufenbarger) Dain. She married William H. Ostermeir 6-10-1938. 

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Edinburg, Ill. 

Survivors include: husband of Taylorville, Sons: Dale Ostermeier and Kenneth Ostermeier both of rural Edinburg, Daughters: Janet (Nelson) Stubbs, Henry, Ill, and Barbara (James) Mudd, Wichita Fall, TX. 14 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews 

Preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and l great granddaughter. 

A loving wife, mother, daughter and sister who dedicated her life to caring for her family and actively sharing in the family farm operations. Active participant in Church and community. 

Visitation will be Saturday, August 4, 2007 from 10:00 - 11 :00 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church Edinburg.

Funeral service will be at 11 :00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church Edinburg, Ill. With Rev. Gaylor Spilker officiating. 
Burial will be in Grove City Cemetery.
