Sarah Nicole Waterman

PEORIA - Sarah Nicole Waterman, 33, of Peoria passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at 5:15 a.m. at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born on Nov. 29, 1979, in Taylorville, the daughter of Ivan D. and Patricia "Patty" (Lashbrook) Waterman. She was preceded in death by her mother in 2006 and her grandfather, William Lashbrook.

Sarah was assistant branch manager for Regions Bank in East Peoria. She was also a hairdresser.

Survivors include her fiance, Jamie Berkley of Peoria, Ill.; son, Carter Berkley of Peoria, Ill.; father and stepmother, Ivan D. and Cindy Waterman of Livingston, Ill.; sister, Va'Nicia Waterman of Peoria, Ill.; brother, Monte (wife, Danielle) Waterman of Raymond, Ill.; niece, Rylie Waterman; grandparents, Dean and Diana Waterman of Harvel, Ill., and Carol Hasara of Taylorville, Ill.; very special friend, Elaine Fisher of Peoria, Ill.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held today, Jan. 25, 2013, at 10 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Morrisonville, with the Rev. Dayle Badman officiating. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery in Raymond. Visitation was Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville.

Memorials are suggested to the Education Fund for Carter Berkley.
