Stella Lavonne Green

Stella Lavonne Green, 61, of Hillsboro, IL formerly of Sorento, IL passed away Thursday, December 23, 2004 at 10:00 AM at her home. 

She was born February 17, 1943 in Madison, IL the daughter of Cecil and Virgie (Shrives) Wright. She married Edward Roberson on December 30, 1961 at Mitchell, IL, he preceded her in death. She then married James Green on February 15, 1991 at Edwardsville, IL; he also preceded her in death, as did her father and 1 grandson. 

Mrs. Green worked at several area factories and also as a secretary. She was an avid bingo player. 

Survivors: Daughter, Angie Carson of Hillsboro, IL; Sons Matt and Mark Roberson both of Hillsboro, IL; Step Daughter, Debra Swett of Sorento, IL; Step Sons, James Green of Litchfield, IL, Jeffery, Marvin and Dale Green all of Sorento, IL; 19 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild; Mother, Virgie McBride of Granite City, IL; Sister, Martha Bailey of Granite City, IL. 

Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Sorento.
