Sue Kosek

Sue Kosek, age 84, of Marine, formerly of Panama, passed away at 6:45 a.m., on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at University Health and Rehabilitation Center in Edwardsville.
She was born on July 27, 1925, at Soperton, Ga., the daughter of Mattie Will and Sarah Elizabeth (Black) Jordan.
She married Frank Kosek on July 10, 1943, at Savannah, Ga.; he preceded her in death along with her parents, son: Charles Frank Kosek; sisters: Jessie Pittman and Helen Mosher.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Methodist Church in Madison and Panama V.F.W. Post 6628 Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter: Karen, and husband Gerry, Trojahn of Marine; a granddaughter: Colleen Ruth Kosek of New Hope, Ga.; a brother: William Daniel Jordan of Grand Junction, Colo.; sisters: Alma Youngbar of Baltimore, Md., and Frances Hightower of Guyton, Ga.; a daughter-in-law: Rosanna Kosek of Marine; several nieces and nephews including Donna Manning of Panama; and special friends: Geneva Butler of Edwardsville and Frances Clotfelter of The Woodlands, Texas.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., on Wednesday, March 17, at the Perfetti Funeral Home in Panama.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, March 17, at the funeral home, with Rev. Rob Schneider officiating.
Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Panama.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Union Cemetery Association.
