Sydney Theresa Wemple passed away at 5:22 a.m. Monday, April 5, 2010, at St. John’s Children’s Hospital in Springfield due to complications of a diaphragmatic hernia.

She was born April 5, 2010 to Robert and Elizabeth “Eba” Grundy Wemple.

Surviving are her parents, Robert and Elizabeth “Eba” Wemple of Taylorville; grandparents: Wayne (wife Elaine) Grundy of Morrisonville, Linda Grundy of Kingman, AZ, and Don and Liz Wemple of Nokomis; great-grandparents: Louis and Flora Rivera of Albuquerque, NM and Wayne and Joan Wemple of Pana; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Private family graveside services were held Saturday, April 10, at St. Maurice Catholic Cemetery with Rev. Richard Wamsley officiating. Burial followed at St. Maurice Catholic Cemetery in Morrisonville.

Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville was in charge of arrangements.
