Terry E. Paul

Terry E. Paul, 49 of Sorento passed away unexpectedly at 12:12 PM on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Greenville Regional Hospital.

He was born on January 13, 1967 at Hillsboro the son of Joseph W. and Barbara J. (Brewer) Paul. He was preceded in death by his father and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Terry was a man loved and respected by many. He grew up in Sorento and still resided on the land he loved. Terry had many hobbies from hunting anything, fishing, trapping, setting bank lines, hogging, camping, horseback riding, golfing, running dogs and his most recent was bee whispering. He worked for many years at Georgia Pacific in Mt. Olive and was a member of Labor Local 622 in Greenville.

He is survived by: His better half, April Stevenson of Sorento, IL; Sons, Kaleb (Renee) Paul of Mulberry Grove, IL and Tyler Paul of Sorento, IL; Daughters, Crystal (Matt) Blankenship of Mulberry Grove, IL and Hayley Stevenson of Sorento, IL; Grandchildren, Jase and Sloane Blankenship; Mother, Barbara Paul of Sorento, IL; Sister, Christina (Mike) Pashia of Sorento, IL; Brother, Tom (Diane) Paul of Greenville, IL; Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento with Rev. Troy Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento at a later date. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento.

In memory of Terry memorials are suggested to The Shoal Creek Fire Protection District or Shoal Creek Fox Hunters.

Immediately following the funeral service, everyone is invited to join Terry's family for a dinner and fellowship at the Sorento Fire Hall.
