Theda Toles

Theda Louise Toles, 81 of Taylorville passed away Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 10:47 A.M. at her residence. She was born June 18, 1928 in Taylorville, the daughter of Garland and Madeline (Ellrich) Potts. She married Earl H. Toles on June 19, 1949 in Taylorville. Theda worked as a receptionist and clerk for St. Vincent Memorial Hospital and the Christian County Medical Clinic.

She is survived by sons: Stephen (Wife Crystal) Toles of Mesa AZ, & Christopher (Wife Rita) Toles of Escondido CA, 4 grandchildren; Kestin Toles, Dillon Toles, Jacob Toles, & Melissa Loy, brother; Kenneth (Wife Mary Lou) Potts of Springfield IL, sister; Norma Fitzpatrick of Tempe AZ, and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother; Loren Potts.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 7 from 10:30 to 11:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the church with Rev. Dale Badman officiating. Inurnment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.
