Velera M. (Miller) Jackson, 91, of Staunton passed away Friday, September 15, 2006 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.

She was born January 15, 1915 in Idalia, Missouri the daughter of Arlie and Myrtle (Bonner) Atnip. She married William Miller, he preceded her in death. She then married Willard E. Jackson Sr.; he also preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents; Sons, Kenneth and Eugene Miller; Daughters, Glenna Miller and Sandra Barker; Brother, Leon Atnip.

Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker.

Survivors: Son, Donald Miller of Staunton, IL; Many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Private family graveside services will be held Monday, September 18 at Sunnyside Cemetery with Rev. Elmer L. Fenton officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, Sorento.
