Vernon G. Mick

Vernon G. Mick, 80, of Sorento passed away Monday, September 25, 2006 at 7:05 AM at Dubuis Health Care in Chesterfield, Missouri.

He was born August 18, 1926 in Alhambra, Illinois the son of Gus and Florence (Brewer) Mick. He married Dorothy Lebegue on October 1, 1946 at Collinsville, Illinois. Preceding him in death were his parents.
Mr. Mick was a lifelong farmer and a member of Highland Community Church.

Survivors: Wife, Dorothy Mick of Sorento, IL; Son, Jeff (wife, Donna) Mick of Edwardsville, IL; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Friends may call on Wednesday, September 27 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 28 at 1:00 PM at Perfetti Funeral Home with Rev. Elmer L. Fenton officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, Sorento.

In memory of Vernon G. Mick memorials may be made to a charity of choice.

Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento is in charge of arrangements.
