Virginia Ruth Cromeans, 88 of Granite City passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 at 2:40 PM at Stearns Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Granite City.

She was born October 5, 1922 at Mattoon the daughter of George Atwell and Zela Catherine (Winkleblack) Brewer. She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, George, Paul Richard Brewer.

Virginia was a homemaker and a member of Tri-City Assembly of God Church in Granite City.

Survivors: Sisters, Berneice Wall of Sorento, IL, Catherine Baker of Aurora, IL and Marcella (Carl) Walker of Creve Coeur, IL; 2 neices and 6 nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday April 1 at 11:00 AM at the Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento with Rev. Phil Schneider and Rev. Barry Shepard officiating. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento.

Visitation will be held one hour before service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Tri-City Assembly of God Church in Granite City.
