Vivian L. Dunn

Vivian L. Dunn, 85, of Taylorville died Thursday, June 15, 2006, in Taylorville Care Center.

She was born July 6, 1920, in Edinburg, the daughter of Cletus and Alma (Neer) Adams. She married Delber E. Dunn on August 10, 1946, in St. Charles, MO. She worked during World War II at the munitions plant in Illiopolis. She also sold Amway. She was a member of the Taylorville Christian Church. She was a member of Eagles Club, V.F.W., Women of the Moose, American Legion and Senior Citizens of Christian County. She enjoyed bowling and playing BINGO.

Surviving are her children: Delber E. (wife Marsha) Dunn of Kirkwood and Alberta Louise (husband Jim) Bass of Phoenix, AZ: step-son, Leroy Dunn of Pana; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother; sister; three grandchildren; and two step-sons.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, in Shafer Funeral Home, with Rev. Dick Wamsley officiating. Burial will be in Glenhaven Memorial Gardens, Taylorville.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, June 19, in the funeral home. Memorials in memory of Vivian Dunn my be made to Senior Citizen of Christian County, Taylorville.
