Walter Orvil Wallace, 91, of Waterloo, IL formerly of Sorento, IL died 12:35 A.M. Thursday, January 8, 2004 at Cantebury Manor Nursing Center in Waterloo.

Born January 21, 1912 in Jefferson County, IL the son of Walter Henry and Etta Ethel (Smith) Wallace. He married Bernadean Johnson on August 1, 1935 in Dahlgren, IL. Preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, 2 sisters and a son.

Mr. Wallace was a graduate of Lincoln Electric and worked as a boilermaker. He was a member of Boilermakers Local 363.

Survivors: Wife, Bernadean Wallace of Waterloo, IL; Daughter, Jo Ann Lunk of Waterloo, IL; Sons, Eddy Leon Wallace of Mulberry Grove, IL and Larry Douglas Wallace of Sorento, IL; Sister, Edith Ella Atchisson of Wayne City, IL; 11 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren.

Friends may call from 11:00-1:00 P.M. Saturday January 10 at Perfetti Funeral Home in Sorento. Graveside services will be held at 1:15 P.M. Saturday, January 10 at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento.
