Warren "Bud" Eugene Oller

Warren Eugene "Bud" Oller 87, of Morrisonville passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 10:05 PM at Taylorville Care Center. 

He was born October 29, 1920 in Nokomis the son of the late Charles and Sadie (Weathers) Oller. He married Marguerite La Vene Durbin on August 24, 1939 at St. Mary's Rectory in Taylorville; she preceded him in death along with 4 brothers and 4 sisters; 1 Grandson, Nick Oller and 1 Granddaughter, Latasha Ovington. 

Mr. Oller was a professional truck driver. He was Mayor of Palmer for 16 years and a founding trustee of the Morrisonville-Palmer Fire Protection District. His memberships include St. Maurice Catholic Church, Leslie Reddick American Legion Post 721, Teamsters, past president of the Bear Creek Community Club and Knights of Columbus Council 1151. He served in the US Army during World War II. 

Survivors: Sons, Patrick (Cindy) Oller of Palmer, IL, Edward (Ruth) Oller of Springfield and Dennis (Shari) Oller of Morrisonville, IL; Daughters, Mary (Carl) Prose of Streamwood, IL, Gloria (Bill) Ovington of Morrisonville, IL and Susan (Tyrone) Poleon of Palmer, IL; 22 Grandchildren; 26 Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Barbara "Bobbie" Meier of Hendersonville, TN and Betty (Bob) Zierfuss of Machesney Park, IL; Many Nieces and Nephews. 

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 24 from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 25 at 10:00 AM at the Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home with the Rev. Chad Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Morrisonville Cemetery. 

In memory of Warren "Bud" Oller memorials may be made to the Morrisonville-Palmer Fire Protection District. 

Moffitt-Perfetti Funeral Home in Morrisonville is in charge of arrangements.
