Warren Howard Chewning

 Warren Howard Chewning, age 91, of Southport, Ct., formerly of Palmer, IL, beloved husband of the late Thayis Simpson Chewning died Thursday, January 24, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Springfield Illinois April 4, 1921, he was the son of the late Margaret Simpson and Orville Chewning. Mr. Chewning was a long time employee and Chief of Field Services for Dictaphone Corporation. He was a WWII Army Veteran Servicing in China- Burma-India Theater for 3 years. There are no immediate survivors. Friends may call Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 6:30-8:00 in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. Interment will be in Palmer Illinois.
