William "Shorty" E. Warren

William E. “Shorty” Warren, 69, of Stonington, died Saturday, December 2, 2006, in Memorial Medical Center.

He was born March 20, 1937, in Dolphin, Missouri, the son of William Clifford and Lucille Warren. He married Judith Greffe in 1959 in Taylorville. He was a retired welder and machinist.

Surviving are his daughters: Tammy Allen of Champaign and Kimberly Roberson of Georgia; sons: Tony Lee Warren of Hot Springs, ID, Jeffrey (wife Holli) Warren of Taylorville, Kristopher (wife Shelly) Warren of Bulpitt and Scott (wife Jennifer) Warren of Rawleigh, NC; 11 grandchildren; and brother, Lee (wife Judy) Warren of Brandenton, FL. He was preceded in death by his father; and daughter, Tina Marie.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 8, in Shafer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rosemond Grove Cemetery, Rosamond.

Visitation will be held for one hour prior to services in the funeral home.
