Wilma Jane Bingham, 73, of Taylorville died in her residence on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 8:43 p.m.

She was born on September 7, 1937, in Arthur, IL, to Roy and Geraldine Rhodes Helton. She married Robert A. Bingham on October 8, 1971, in Arthur, Illinois. He died on November 28, 2001. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Free Methodist Church. She very much enjoyed her nights of Bingo with her many friends in Taylorville. She also enjoyed playing Bunko with friends.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Michael Lovelady of Staunton, VA; daughter, Janice Elaine Hill of Clemson, S.C.; stepsons: Michael Bingham of Taylorville, Jeffrey Bingham of Houston, TX, Randall (Angie) Bingham and Robert "Bobby" (Janet) Bingham, both of Taylorville; Stepdaughters: Terri France, Cynthia "Sis" Dunaway, and Betty Cuningham, all of Taylorville; sister, Joan Fisher of Sacramento, CA; brother, Harold Helton of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren: Kimberly Whitmire of Urbana, Robert L. Hill, Jr., of Clemson, S.C, and Dustin Michael Lovelady of Staunton, VA; 13 step-grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, and one brother.

At Mrs. Bingham request, she will be cremated. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
