He was one of the BEST fathers I have ever seen to his children and if you knew Danny and seen him take care of the kids while they were growing up you would have known!!! He was always the first one up every morning making breakfast and most meals!! He loved to cook especially amazing steaks!! He was the best fisherman! We love you Danny and you did not deserve this or many things you had to went through! May you rest in peace. The pain you had experienced is gone now! I know you were right with God and you are forever free of all the hurt and pain you had to experience! We love you and will always be remembered!!

  4. Light a CandleMakes me SICK to hear this! Said some prayers for his soul and all those he left behind! Danny was a GREAT guy with a GREAT heart, and will be GREATLY MISSED! I actually considered him FAMILY! SUCH A GOOFBALL!!! I’ll never forget how he taught me to measure Crappie Fish we caught with our male parts to see if they were long enough to be keepers!!! LOL… WAY too many goofy stories to list! Hope everyone remembers him this way!

  5. Light a CandleEven though I am Danny’s Aunt Linda, I did not know him very well. My family moved to Arizona in 1981 so Danny was still a baby when I last saw him. I do remember that all of my sister, Cathy’s, children were very well behaved and loved their parents very much.
So much happens during one’s lifetime. New babies are born and, unfortunately, some loved ones pass, some are old and some are not. We cannot choose ‘His’ plans for us, only ‘He’ knows.
I truly believe in God and ‘He’ has chosen to take Danny into ‘His’ care for whatever reason ‘He’ chose. He is in God’s hands now.
May Danny Rest in Peace now and may God Bless his soul.

  6. Light a CandleI honestly don’t even know where to begin or what to say. Danny was a major part of my life. I grew up best friends with Danny and later married him and had children together. Danny had a heart of gold and loved his children, family and friends so much. He will be missed here on earth. I know that you were greated by your dad Joe, Debbie, your grandpa,Jerry, Josh, Ric the list goes on. I’m sure you all are having a blast up there. Until we meet again. I promise to always do right raising our children and leading them on the right path through life. Please watch over us all down here and always protect Jordan and Alyssa Durbin. We love you Danny. My heart is truly shattered. Rest easy till we see you again.

  7. Light a CandleBeulah
So sorry for you and your family on the loss of your grandson Daniel Joseph. I lived across the alley from you when I was still living in Stonington with my parents, Buck & Millie Marron. Then we reacquainted at SVMH when we both worked there
