Daphne M. Marak

Daphne M. "Pat" Marak, 89 of Panama passed away at 5:07 PM on Monday, May 30, 2016 at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health care Center.

She was born on January 20, 1927 at Eynesbury, England the daughter of Charles and Vera (Jackson) Bundy. She married Edward Bernard Marak on July 6, 1946 at St. Neots, England. She was preceded in death by her parents; Brother, John Bundy; Sister, Jean Rasimowicz; Great grandson, Devin Cruthis.

Pat was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting. She was a member of Panama VFW Post 6628 Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors: Husband, Edward Bernard Marak of Panama, IL; Son, Kenneth Marak (Companion, Kathy Long) of Panama, IL; Daughters, Carol (Husband, Kenny) Cruthis of Panama, IL and Janet Akeman of Branson, MO; 4 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; 5 Step Great Grandchildren; 3 Step Great Great Grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Panama United Methodist Church with Rev. Adam Penn officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Panama. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Panama United Methodist Church.
