Susie Mae Gomilla

Susie M. Gomilla passed away at Clinton Manor Living Center at the age fo 88. She was born in Carroll County Mississippi to Emmett and Carrie Lee (Gayden) Lockhart. She married Bryant J. "Doc" Gomilla on January 20, 1941 in Vaiden County, Mississippi. He died May 5, 2003. She is survived by her children Rev. Carrie (Pastor Joe) Hill, Juanita McGhee, Sarah (Danny) Sanders, and Willie Gomilla. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Susie Gomilla, a son Bryant Gomilla, a grandson, a great granddaughter, six sisters and 2 brothers. She grew up in Mississippi. She and her husband moved to Greenville where they both worked at DeMoulin Brothers until they retired in 1989. She was member of The First Missionary Baptist Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to The First Missionary Baptist Church
